Terms of Service

Byzxpo is a business directory operated by Byzxpo ("Byzxpo", "we", "us"). It helps people discover local businesses and helps business owners list and manage their businesses, on byzxpo.com and in the Byzxpo mobile apps (together, the "Services").

By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and, if you list a business, the Business Listing Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. To list a business or buy a subscription you must be 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Some features need a verified email address (for example, writing reviews).
• You can close your account at any time from Account → Delete my account (see the Account & Data Deletion page).

You may use the Services for their intended purpose: finding businesses, contacting them, and managing your own listings and tools. You must not:

• break the law or anyone's rights, or post content you don't have the right to post;
• post fake, paid or misleading reviews, impersonate others, or list businesses you don't represent;
• scrape, copy or resell directory data, or access the Services by automated means except through features we provide;
• interfere with, overload, probe or bypass the security of the Services;
• use enquiries or messages to send spam, harassment or unsolicited marketing.

Reviews, messages, photos, listings and other content you post remain yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, adapt (for display) and share that content to run and promote the Services. The licence ends when the content is removed, except where others have already relied on it or we must keep it by law.

Reviews must reflect your own genuine experience. Only signed-in members with a verified email can review, one review per business, and a limited number per day. Owners cannot review their own business. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

Listings are governed by the Business Listing Terms. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listing, products, services, deals and events. Changes to a listing may need our approval.

Paid plans are purchased on byzxpo.com only; the mobile apps do not sell subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Details are in the Subscriptions & Refunds page.

The Services, their design, software and the Byzxpo name and logo belong to Byzxpo or its licensors. These Terms don't give you any right to use them except to use the Services as intended.

Businesses listed on the Services are independent. We don't provide, guarantee or endorse their products or services, and any dealings you have with them are between you and them. Links and maps may take you to third-party services governed by their own terms.

We may suspend or close accounts, remove listings or content, or limit features if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if required by law. Where appropriate we will tell you why. You may stop using the Services at any time.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". Listing information, reviews and research results come from businesses, members and automated tools and may be incomplete or out of date. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Business tools (calculators, budgets, invoices, AI research) are aids only and are not financial, tax or legal advice.

To the extent the law allows, Byzxpo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

If you use the Services for business, you will defend and indemnify Byzxpo against claims arising from your listing, content, products or services, or your breach of these Terms.

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in King County, Washington have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims where they live if their local law gives them that right.
